Bratislava Economic Meeting 2010

Scholars from Slovak, Czech and international institutions are invited to present their unpublished  research in all areas of economics - theoretical, empirical, experimental, institutional, or policy-oriented. The main objective of this meeting is to foster contacts and lasting academic cooperation among Slovak, Czech and international economists.

Young economists, graduate students and post-docs who wish to present their research and obtain feedback are particularly encouraged to apply.

Conference date: June 24-26, 2010.

Conference venue: University of Economics, Bratislava

We are pleased to announce that the keynote lecture will be given by Botond Koszegi, Associate Professor at the University of California in Berkeley. The keynote lecture will take place on June 26 at the conference venue.

Procedures: The conference language is English. There is no conference fee. Presenters should submit their papers by e-mail to presenters and participants must also register here.

Financial Aid: Limited accommodation funds will be available for non-local participants who cannot obtain sufficient financial support from their home institution. If you need accommodation funds, please send an e-mail to including your status (either student or faculty member) by April 30, 2010. The final decisions will be announced by May 15.
